I just bought a webhosting business that currently uses a shared reseller account. I would like to move to a managed VPS.Is there any benefit to me and my clients in doing this or should i just get a bigger shared package.

I don’t recommend a VPS. Because they generally provide limited Ram. You maybe find one that provide more. But then the price will be expensive.I will rather recommend you a reseller hosting or managed dedicated server.

Whats the sort of space and bandwith requirments for your clients ? . I have delt with something similar to this before in the past . Depending on the traffic on the sites you may not need to move to a VPS or dedicated yet , a better non oversold reseller account will probably suit you.
