NAID Organizes Assistive Technologies Innovation Camp


The National Academy of Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities (NAID) is organizing the Assistive Technologies Innovation Camp (iCamp) as part of its Summer Internship program for eight weeks starting from August 1. The program is organized both online and at NAID premises in Smart Village.

The iCamp is an unmatched learning opportunity targeting sophomore and senior university students and graduates. It introduces them to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and assistive technologies to help them develop, enhance and transform their innovative ideas into viable products or services.

The program involves several tracks, including Internet of Things (IoT) and embedded systems, web development, mobile development, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data science, and Cloud DevOps.

Throughout the program, the participants will have access to all the facilities and necessary tools, learn from industry experts and professionals, and network with a vast community interested in assistive technologies. The program winners will receive cash awards of up to EGP 20K and other benefits.
